Walk Through Memory Lane- December Winner and January Announcement

Today the Walk Through Memory Lane event has crossed 12 months and has entered the second year. 12 bloggers have got books through giveaways. When I first started this event, I never thought it will run for a year. But now as the event has entered the second year, there is a special giveaway for 3 lucky winners participating in the event. Instead of giving away a book, I will be giving the subscription of Tarla Dalal's Cooking and More for a year for 3 winners.


 Many of you will be surprised about me giving away only Tarla Dalal's books. I am an ardent fan of her books and this is just to show my love for her recipes. I will be hosting this year's first WTML event and I request all my fellow blogger friends to send in their entries to the event.
As the name suggests, this is to remember all the dishes we relished during our child hood. You might have taken it for granted when mom prepared it. But when you have a craving and mom is not nearby, what you usually do is call her up for the recipe. That is the main theme of this event. Ask mom, MIL or granny for a dish which you loved during your childhood and share it with us. Please stick to traditional and vegetarian recipes.

Time for the Winner announcement for last month and year. Nithu of Nithu's Kitchen hosted the event for December 2013 and she got 119 number of entries. I should thank her for hosting it and making the event a great success at the end of the year. I selected a number through random number generator and the number which has won the give away is 110- Maida Dosa from Jaleela. Congratulations Jaleela. Please send me your mailing address along with your contact number to gayathriraani@gmail.com. I will send you the book. 


Some important points to be noted before sending your entries:

Usage of logo is optional. This will be useful to spread the word. 
There are no restrictions for the number of new entries.
 If you are linking an archived entry, please update it with the link to this page. 
Two entries from the archives are accepted. 
Only Vegetarian recipes accepted. Eggs not allowed.
Non-Bloggers can also send in their entries by sending the recipe to my mail ID- gayathriraani@gmail.com . I will include it in the round up. 
 I am giving a linky tool for easy linking of your posts. So you need not go through the lengthy process of drafting a mail and sending it to me. 
I will be selecting three entries through random selection and give away the subscription for the selected entries. I request all my readers to help me in making this event a huge success.
Note that the books I am are not sponsored and it is my own contribution to the event. .

On the first of February, I will select the lucky winners and send a mail. After receiving my mail,you can give an address to which I have to ship the books. I will ship the book within India so if you reside abroad, please give an address in India for me to ship.
