Pink Poori and Cauliflower Masala

I prepared these mini pink pooris for my daughter. This is one of the method to induce veggies into my daughter's diet. She liked the pooris very much. For my surprise she took those pooris in her lunch box also.

Ingredients:

Maida-1cup
Atta-1cup
Beetroot-2
Salt-to taste

Procedure:

  1. Scrape the skin of beetroot and grate it.
  2. In a mixer grinder, grind it to a fine paste adding 1/2 cup of water.
  3. Remove juice using a strainer.
  4. Mix atta, maida, salt and the beetroot juice to prepare a firm dough.
  5. If the juice is not enough add little water.
  6. Prepare small balls out of the dough.
  7. Roll it to a circle of even thickness.
  8. Deep fry in oil.
  9. Serve hot.
