This is a simple chutney very essential in the preparation of chats. I wrote down this recipe years ago, after watching a cookery show by the famous cook Chellam. This recipe has never failed. If you want it hot add 2 or 3 green chillies extra.
Ingredients:
Mint leaves-1/4cup
Coriander leaves-1cup
Ginger- 2small pieces
Cumin seeds-1tsp
Lemon-1
Green chilly-5
Salt-to taste
Procedure:
- Grind      mint and coriander leaves along with cumin, green chillies and ginger to a      fine paste.
- Add      juice of 1 lemon and salt and mix well. 
- Green      chutney is ready.
